Black/Jewish Tensions and Obama

The causes of tension, between African Americans and Jews in America, are unclear but it is obvious that they exist.  Despite many years of hard work in the civil rights movement, it is clear that many Black leaders do not like Jews.

Barack Obama’s attendance at dinner for Rashid Khalidi, a radical professor and activist tied to the PLO, is quite probably a product of those tensions and should be construed as tacit acceptance of many anti-Semitic positions taken by the radicals that he calls “acquaintances.”  It would take a man of courage to stand up (as many Jews did for Blacks in the 60’s and 70’s) to all the people that surround him, who are espousing racist views, and denounce the hate-filled speeches as wrong.  Obama must agree with the bile effused by his friends, or he is not a man of courage.

This blog has called Barack Obama out on his cowardice* on several occasions.  If the country is hoodwinked into electing him president, he must demonstrate that he is a better, braver man than he was in the past.  Cowards do not make good presidents.

OBAMA Should Call for the Release of the Tape

If "the tape”* were harmless Obama would call for its release.  This story could strain the Shotgun Scale of Press Bias.** (It’s a 10/1, but clearly it could possibly go right off the scale.)

Quick, We Need a New Lie About Palin

The caricature of Governor Palin that the Left has created in close collaboration with the media may be wearing off.  She is breaking through the distortions and creating the image that she may be a real woman, a person of substance with genuine emotions and actual accomplishments.

The Left cannot let this stand; they’re in need of a new lie.  What will it be?  We’re waiting.

Is Biden Working for Hillary?

After Obama’s loss, the finger of blame will point directly at Biden.  The accusation (Biden working for Hillary) will be made and it will become part of conspiratorial lore – just like all of the other excuses that ignore the thousands of reason that Obama should not be president.

A list: What the left will control if Obama wins

The Left Will Control:

Both Houses of Congress (almost definitely)

The Supreme Court (eventually)

The Executive (including the military, the FBI and the CIA)

The Universities

Most Major Papers

Public Education

The Major Cities (New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago)

The Federal and State Government Bureaucracies

The Unions

Hollywood

The Networks (NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, BET, MTV)

CNN (separated from the networks because they purport to be a neutral news organization)

NPR & PBS (separated from the networks because they are funded by taxpayers)

Network News

Left Wing Websites/Blogs

The Late Night Shows (Leno, Letterman)

The fake news shows that brilliantly indoctrinate their viewers (The Daily Show, Colbert Report)

The Right has:

FOX News (arguably)

Talk Radio (until the “Fairness Doctrine”)

Two or Three Newspapers

Right-leaning Websites/Blogs

Rural America

40 million families (a guesstimate)

Both lists are incomplete, but the top one is scary.

QUANTIFYING Journalistic Integrity

How far in the tank is the media* for Obama?  We need to create a new standard. The system can be based on how much in the national interest a story is, and how far the media tanks for it.

An example:

On scale of one-to-ten, the Governor Palin wardrobe story was a two (in the national interest) and it received a medium amount of coverage - in the six range.  (2/6)

On the other hand, the Senator Biden gaffe of stating Obama’s inexperience, and possibly slipping with national secrets, was clearly a ten, but received coverage of approximately one (relative to its importance).  (10/1)

Therefore, if the first number matches the second, or is close, than the press has been even-handed, otherwise the difference is the quantifiable press bias, hereby named the Shotgun Scale of Press Bias.  A perfectly balanced score of 5/5, 6/6 or 3/3 etc. is what we should demand of non-editorial reporting.

In this particular case the press bias is a huge factor of 2/6 (-4) negative for Palin and the inexperience/national calamity story was biased 10/1 (+9) in favor of Senator Biden. (We must compare apples to apples, so the stories compared should both be either possibly harmful or possibly helpful.)

It may take some tinkering; I am looking forward to input.

The Media’s Calling: We’ve Done All We Can, Now It’s Up To You

Dear America,

Lowly citizens, we, the much smarter and wiser media, have been inundated with requests* to be more honest, and balanced, in our coverage of the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. We pledge to continue to be impartial  ;-) .  And, we just wanted to remind you to vote; not for anyone in particular ;-) .  We’ve done all we can to inform you.

Here’s the list to remember when you get in that booth:

ü     We turned Governor Palin into a caricature; we ignored her accomplishments and exaggerated her flubs.

ü     We’ve ignored the national embarrassment that is Joe Biden.  We’ve passed on Biden’s huge gaffes and have overstated his intellect.

ü     We convinced you that the Republicans are responsible for the economic crisis; Democrats had nothing to do with it.

ü     We did not fully investigate Obama’s radical views and his radical associates.

ü     We’ve let you believe that Republicans control congress.

ü     We’ve ignored the fact that Obama smokes.

ü     We ignored Obama’s very extreme views on abortion.

ü     We’ve obfuscated the tax issue enough to leave you confused (lowering taxes can’t possibly raise income).

ü     We’ve completely ignored any good news from Iraq or the ongoing war on terror

ü     We demonized Bush/Cheney as much as we could and linked McCain to him as tightly as possible.

ü     We’ve called you a racist (let’s face it, most of you outside of New York and San Francisco, are).

And last and most important…

ü     We’ve convinced you, despite Obama’s lack of any real experience, that he is qualified to be President of the United States, possibly the most demanding job in the world.

Yes, we’ve done our job America, now go out and vote, several times if you can, for the person whom we’ve worked very hard.  Oh, and, you’re welcome.

McCain Is Too Nice; Obama’s a Coward

Bob Dole was a gentleman, too much of a gentleman to defeat Bill Clinton who showed him little respect.  John McCain is a gentleman too, the kind of gentleman who corrects his audience when they say silly things about his opponent.  McCain could be on the same path as Dole if he doesn’t wise up.

McCain is too much of a gentleman to allow people introducing Obama to use his middle name.  That is right, this is a divisive ploy.

McCain was too much of a gentleman to bring the hammer down on Barack and point out that Obama is in favor of infanticide during the debate.  This may be smart, the media would come to Obama’s defense, try to cover it up, portray it as a lie, and (somehow) call McCain a racist.

McCain is too much of a gentleman to bring up Reverend Wright.  This is wrong; Wright’s a legitimate issue that shows whose opinions Obama respects, and that either Obama believes that America is horribly flawed and racist too, or he is too much of a coward to challenge Wright.*

McCain should use every legitimate weapon at his disposal, it’s not as if the media, or his opponent, will ever give him credit for being a gentleman after they, working together, defeat him.

Obama is not a gentleman; he is a coward.

GIRLS (Who’ve) GONE WILD and Sarah Palin

Feminism is off-track.  What was once a well-intentioned and much-needed movement has devolved into exactly what some critics (at the time of its beginnings) predicted it would become.

The girls went wild with 1 million abortions a year, many in the second and third trimesters.  Before this issue was decided in 1973, the leading spokeswomen, and spokesmen, assured America that they only wanted abortions in the first trimester and partial-birth abortion (infanticide) was never mentioned. Obama’s support for certain forms of infanticide is the logical extension of the casual culture of abortion.

The girls went wild with their support of Bill Clinton in the Monica Lewinsky situation.  Just like the overly aggressive defense lawyers in rape trials that liberal feminists justifiably reviled, they attacked the accuser; in fact, they attacked all of Clinton’s accusers (Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broddrick* and Lewinsky).  As long as Bill was a Democrat who protected abortion, the wild girls did not care about his misogyny and, predictably, lost credibility, while lowering the bar on proper behavior for everyone.

The girls went wild with the sexual revolution.  There was, from the beginning of this free sexuality, pressure on girls to become sexual at a younger and younger age.  We have a pornification of the culture that compels many young women to behave in very sleazy manner.  That is how we got Girls Gone Wild and other cultural developments that are demeaning to women and America as a whole.

Sarah Palin threatens liberal feminism.  She stands squarely against all of the ways that feminism went awry and stands strongly for all the positive aspects (equal pay, equal access, equal opportunity) about which it was supposed to be.

Sarah stands in stark contrast to the vulgarity of portions of American culture, for which the country has liberal feminism to thank.  Governor Palin’s presence on the national stage must remind the leaders of this movement that they are not only complicit in the degradation of women, but they are driving the changes that are so harmful to their constituents.

Biden’s Way Out – Will He Leave the Ticket?

It would not be appropriate to attack someone who may have a medical issue, but it may be a convenient way for the Obama campaign to get rid of Joe Biden.  The very recent headline, “No brain scans in released Biden medical records*” may be an honest way for Obama to rid himself of this huge liability.

It is becoming clearer that Biden is a burden to the Obama campaign, but it may be less obvious, to those who are not paying attention, that Biden is a threat to national security.  He may have to be removed from the senate also. I, personally, hope he is well, and maybe this explains his erratic behavior.

Has Obama Already Won?

There are many in the media who are desperately trying to get you to give up hope.  It’s all over for McCain/Palin is implied in so many blogs and news stories.  It’s a tried and true strategy every four years.  This year it’s been taken to new and dizzying heights.

Take the headline, “Irish Bookie Pays Out Obama Bets Weeks Early” on NPR.*  This story was played in many circles on the blogoshpere and by at least one TV pundit as proof that it was over, but read more deeply in the article and you will see that they’ve paid out before and were wrong.

Maybe the false sense of security will work to McCain’s advantage. Tell all your liberal friends that you’ve given up and you will not bother to vote. Take them out after work for drinks to celebrate Obama’s victory and stay at the pub until the polls close.  (Just make sure that you voted before work.)

The McCain/Palin supporter should not despair, he will probably pull it out in the end in the only poll that really counts.

Rush is NOT Racist

Young Republican wrote of Rush Limbaugh’s comments about Colin Powell’s endorsement of Obama on his blog, “it saddens me to see such evidence of his racism now.”  What evidence?  Rush’s statement may be a stretch, but he backs it up with reason, and he may be right.  To jump to the conclusion of racism right away is a form of bigotry in itself.

Young Republican continues with, “I have to say all that because being called a racist is something that gets thrown out way too easily.”  Young Republican is guilty of “throwing it out” and should apologize.

I generally like Young Republican's blog, but I do not agree with this one.

Albright Agrees with Biden: Terrorists Will Test Obama

Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright says, “It’s just a statement of fact, frankly.”

Check that out here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD_EAe1N9-M

Then read this:

Joe Biden recently made a very revealing speech; it should worry every American.  The most worrisome statement is the one that comes near the end of this particular rant.  It is troubling because it either shows his complete ignorance of where he is, who he is and what is going on in his life, or he may actually be letting loose with a national secret.

As it appears on abcnews.com:

After speaking for just over a quarter of an hour, Biden noticed the media presence in the back of the small ballroom. "I probably shouldn't have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here," he joked.

The next part of the speech makes it sound as if Biden knows something we don’t (he is Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee).  This is worrisome, once again, because he may be telegraphing an action that is planned by Israel, by the United States or known to be in the works by a terrorist organization.  If not, then he is just way too dim-witted to be Vice President because he is instilling fear of Obama’s inexperience and assuring us that the world will take advantage of that.

From abcnews.com:

"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

The following statements are way too specific, particularly the line, “Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."  Can he really be this much of a blowhard? Or, is he more dangerous than that?

From abcnews.com:

"I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."

The bizarre diatribe continued to assure us that something epic was going to occur.

From abcnews.com:

“Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, 'Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?' We're gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I'm asking you now, I'm asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you're going to have to reinforce us."

It’s apparent that some decision as already been made, or Joe’s a little more crazy than we thought.  I think the American public has a right to know which it is.  This final section should scare us all.

From abcnews.com:

"There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, 'Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don't know about that decision'," Biden continued. "Because if you think the decision is sound when they're made, which I believe you will when they're made, they're not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they're popular, they're probably not sound."

I am worried.  What do they have planned? Or, is Biden really this dumb?

Should Biden Be Censured?

Joe Biden is a dangerous and erratic man.  His recent statements may be putting Americans and/or allies in danger.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/10/biden-to-suppor.html

The Obama campaign has recently tried to paint McCain as man whose temperament is unstable.  Do they believe Biden is steadfast? Palin would be much better to step in should something happen to the respective Presidential candidate.

Palin is much more serious, thoughtful and capable of keeping a secret (much of her family found out about her place on the ticket from the news).  She is also more likely to rally the country behind her and work across party lines.
