Obama, whose slogan has long been “Change We Can Believe
In,” has changed his motto slightly to “Change We Need.” It could read, “The change you’ll be
forced into.”
Obama on energy: "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as
much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just
expect that other countries are going to say OK."
Obama on speaking Spanish: “But understand this: Instead of
worrying about whether immigrants can learn English -- they'll learn English --
you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish,"
Obama on high gas prices: "I think that I would have
preferred a gradual adjustment.”
